A month to go!

It feels like a long time since "Legion of the damned" went up for pre-order and the publishing date of June 13th felt a lifetime away, but now here we are just 30 days away and the excitement is mounting.

In the meantime I've tried to keep myself busy (outside of normal work commitments) by planning book 4 and I finally decided that I had endured enough procrastination and started writing a couple of weeks ago. The first 2 chapters are written and as polished as I can make them at this point, and this morning I added another 3500 words as the first draft of chapter 3. Got to work tomorrow but hopefully on Thursday I can have a go at editing this chapter.

Book 4 is looking like the hardest to write as there is no written record of what actually happened during the period I'm covering, although there are two or three theories, so there is no historical record from which to draw inspiration. That said, it does conversely give me a fair bit of latitude when creating my plot line so long as I don't veer too far from the existing theories. Either way I'm really enjoying the freedom this gives me and am thoroughly enjoying writing this book especially.
